Apart from the field events, the members of NSW Boys Group also participated in an Education & Model Competition. Entries this year where significantly down on previous years, but the standard was still high. Various sections where available to members to enter, they included Best Plastic Model 1/72 and smaller & 1/48 and larger (Various Age Groups), Best Balsa Chuck Glider (Various Age Groups), Best Built Up Balsa Model (Various Age Groups) & Best Diorama (Various Age Groups). It is hoped that 2006 will see every squadron make an effort to encourage their members to enter at least one section and thus boost the entries in this important competition.
